Originally from South-West France, daughter of a painter and a father who grew garden roses as a hobby, House of Jeanne Flowers is the brainchild of owner/designer Celia Laurent. Celia has a background in hospitality and special event management with over a decade spent in New York City coordinating weddings and special events for high profile clients such as Christie's, Martha Stewart and Michael Dell.

She has made Washington D.C. her home along with her husband Chef Eric Ziebold. In 2015, the pair opened two restaurants, Kinship and Metier, in the heart of the city, in a quaint historic building. There, Celia started arranging the restaurants' floral decor which grew into a love affair with flowers. She is now offering full floral services for in house private events, weddings and private clients. 

Celia draws inspiration from nature and its movements, along with art, specifically color and composition. Her work is influenced by the garden and seasonal blooms, and she gravitates towards lush and flowing compositions.
